SAN DIEGO - Chief Warrant Officer Keith Raisch, the BOSN onboard the U.S. Coast Guard Cutter Eagle, delivers a safety brief to a crowd of guests and newly reported cadets from the Coast Guard Academy known as "swabs", today. "There is nothing we do on this ship worth getting hurt for," said Raisch. During 'swab summer', cadets report to the Eagle to learn seamanship, navigation, teamwork and shipboard engineering.
