Summary

At sea aboard USS George Washington Flight deck crewmen and personnel assigned to the ships medical department carry injured personnel across the ships flight deck after four personnel were rescued from the burning merchant fishing vessel, Diamond Shoal. The fishing boat was off the coast of Jacksonville, Fla., at the time of the incident. Five victims were recovered from the water, with four survivors. Two SH-60F Sea Hawk helicopters assigned to the Emerald Knights of Reserve Helicopter Anti-Submarine Squadron Seven Five (HS-75) conducted the search and rescue (SAR) operation.
