Repraesentatio Der Fürstlichen Auffzug und Ritterspil is a Baroque festive book depicting the celebrations that took place in Stuttgart in 1609 for the princely wedding of Johann Friedrich, Duke of Württemberg, and Barbara Sophie, Margravine of Brandenburg. Illustrations engraved on copper by Balthasar Küchler (around 1571-1641), a painter from Silesia who made his career in Schwäbisch Gmund in Germany, including a frontispiece title and 242 engravings arranged on 238 plates (some engravings are printed on the same plates) representing spectacular processions of ornate floats, the parade of elites and other high dignitaries, musicians, equestrian games.
