Remembering Those Who Sacrificed
Summary
II MIG will dedicate the month of May to remembering those who sacrificed for our country. This week we will honor those who served in WWII. The Second World War took place from 1939-1945. Roughly 16 million Americans fought in WWII and over 400,000 gave their lives in the conflict. Today, we say, “Thank You” to all of our WWII veterans. (U.S. Marine Corps graphic by Lance Cpl.
