Rear Adm. Cynthia M. Thebaud, the commander of Expeditionary Strike Group 2, welcomes The Long Run, an Eagles tribute band, aboard the USS Bataan where they performed for the Marines, Sailors and special guests aboard the ship as part of Fleet Week Port Everglades, May 6, 2016. Fleet Week, which takes place in Fort Lauderdale, Fla., from May 2-8, will give the community of South Florida the opportunity to interact with the Marines and Sailors of the ship as well as see up-close and personal some of the capabilities and equipment the Marine Corps employs.
