Some desire was manifested to holdthe convention at some other place thanSaratoga, but nobody was present whocould guarantee that the necessary accom- sisted that the arrangement led to hurry-ing through the business at a rapid rate,which was not conducive to the best inter-ests of either association. It was then agreedto return to the old practice of holdingthe conventions in different weeks. Anovel change was agreed to, which wasthat the Master Mechanics should meetfirst and the Master Car Builders in thefollowing week. As now agreed upon,the Master Mechanics will meet on thethird Wednesday of June and the MasterCar Builders on the following Monday.
