Promoting September, the Army’s Suicide Prevention

Promoting September, the Army’s Suicide Prevention Month, 4th Brigade Combat Team, 10th Mountain Division conducted a brigade run Sept. 26, 2014. Although awareness efforts continue throughout the year, the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) named September National Suicide Prevention Month, stressing the importance of individual Soldier’s and military organization’s responsibility to know the warning signs of depression and to identify the sudden presence of risky behavior.
