Print, satirical print (BM 1975,U.1561)
Summary
Satire on a journalist, a version in reverse of BM Satires 2349. A man with a pronounced nose, lips and chin (perhaps intended as an acromegalic) is walking in a landscape, to left, reading from a paper; he wears long breeches looped beneath the heel of his long pointed shoes. In the background, to left, a winged ass flies off, looking down at a barrel which leaks from its bung hole into a lake. 1738
