Print, playing-card (BM 1982,U.4600.1-52 13)

Complete transformation pack of 52 mounted playing-cards, plus a duplicate knave of hearts, pasted (at the British Museum) into a book with seventeen pages containing three cards, and two pages each containing a single card. The court cards are full-lenth figures strongly coloured by chromolithography, while the figures on the pip cards are printed in brown outline with the suit-marks hand-coloured. The suit-marks are incorporated into the design of the pip cards.
