Powder Horn (HOME 260) - Homestead National Monument of America
Summary
Very well made powder horn. Made from fairly flat horn. Large end closed by a thick well carved wooden plug with a wooden knob in the center. The carrying string is tied to this. The small end has a long wooden nozzle. This is round and well turned with grooves. Heavy string or cord for carrying.
