Popular print, album (BM 2003,1022,0.53 2)

Album of popular prints mounted on cloth pages. Colour lithograph, lettered, inscribed and numbered 53. Tara, holding a skull cup, two swords and a lotus, stands on Śiva. Two cremation fires burn in the background. Kali is usually associated with this pose, however the two goddesses are virtually indistinguishable.
