Summary
Album of popular prints mounted on cloth pages. Colour lithograph, lettered, inscribed and numbered 53. Tara, holding a skull cup, two swords and a lotus, stands on Śiva. Two cremation fires burn in the background. Kali is usually associated with this pose, however the two goddesses are virtually indistinguishable. See 2003,1022,0.27 for a depiction of Kali standing on Śiva from the same series.
