Petty Officer 1st Class Kevin Kibbe (left) watches Petty Officer 2nd Class Stuart Wood work on the rear suspension of an Army Humvee at Forward Operating Base Apache in Qalat, Afghanistan. Kibbe and Wood are two of the five mechanics at the base, three of whom are Sailors. They are responsible for the maintenance and repair of 79 vehicles which are used by U.S. forces for the mission of training and mentoring the Afghan national security forces in Zabul province.
