Paul Cooke (right), director of the Wisconsin Bureau of Recovery and Response, addresses attendees to the 2018 Threat Management Team meeting Aug. 9, 2018, at McCoy’s Community Center at Fort McCoy, Wis. This was the eighth annual meeting of the team that includes people from Fort McCoy as well as law-enforcement, security, and emergency-service agencies from throughout Wisconsin. The purpose of the meeting and the team is to facilitate networking and to enhance the knowledge of the participants regarding various possible threats in the nation today.
