Palouse River floodwaters flowing down Canyon Street during the 1910 flood in Colfax, Washington. Heavy snow followed by heavy rains and above-freezing temperatures led to widespread flooding. This photograph was taken looking east, with the South Fork of the Palouse River in the foreground. The building with the bell tower was the Colfax City Hall, which stood on the northwest corner of Main and Canyon Streets.
