ARABIAN GULF (Dec. 7, 2003)--U.S. Coast Guard Law Enforcement Detachment (LEDET) 405 member, Boatswain's Mate 3rd Class Christopher Jones, 24, (L), demonstrates a defensive stance to members of the Bahrain Navy and U.S. Navy while conducting a coalition training exercise aboard U.S.S. Philippine Sea (CG 58). U.S. Coast Guard LEDETs are often deployed aboard U.S. Navy ships and they are considered specialists in vessel boarding and shipboard investigations.
