Photograph shows an Emergency Services Corps camp on the estate of Mr. and Mrs. Edward Hewitt, Passaic County, near Erskine, New Jersey, where young women were trained in shooting, military drills, hiking and other activities by Army officers in 1916. Depicted are Mary Dimmick Harrison (1858-1948), wife of President Benjamin Harrison, with her daughter Elizabeth (Harrison) Walker with Mrs. Green and probably her daughter, Helen standing at a tent.
