Military Sealift Command hospital ship USNS Comfort (T-AH 20) is anchored off the coast of Haiti. Comfort is supporting Operation Unified Response, bringing advanced medical capabilities in the form of a fully functioning 1,000-bed hospital and one of the largest trauma facilities in the U.S. to the devastated nation of Haiti in the aftermath of a 7.0 magnitude earthquake on Jan. 12, 2010.
