Summary

Marines with India Battery, the artillery attachment for Battalion Landing Team 1st Battalion, 2nd Marine Regiment, 24th Marine Expeditionary Unit, stand in formation aboard Camp Lejeune, N.C., moments before being released to their families, Dec 17, 2012. Approximately 2,300 Marines and Sailors with the 24th MEU returned to the U.S. after being deployed as an expeditionary crisis response force along with the Iwo Jima Amphibious Ready Group.
