Marines with 7th Engineer Support Battalion, 2nd Marine

Marines with 7th Engineer Support Battalion, 2nd Marine Logistics Group (Forward) assemble a temporary bridge over the Darvishan Bridge in the Gamsir District, Helmand province, Afghanistan, June 16, 2011. The Marines conducted the operation as a temporary fix to allow Afghan contractors to repair the structure without stopping traffic in the area. This project will directly benefit the Marines of 1st Battalion, 3rd Marine Regiment, 2nd Marine Division (Fwd.) who are currently operating in the district in support of the International Security Assistance Force as well as the local population.
