Summary
An abandoned German Marder III tank in North Africa.Original caption: "Improvised mounting of a Russian M1936 76.2 mm anti tank gun on a Czech T.38 tank hull (the whole is known as an SdKfz 139 Marder III). The crew of this powerful German anti tank gun were protected by armour in front only; the top and back were open. These weapons with the long barrels were, however, deadly against tanks."
