Mat Rechkemmer, executive officer of the Cyclone-class coastal patrol ship USS Whirlwind (PC 11), shows a MK-38 25mm machine gun to Boy Scouts during a ship tour. The scouts are members of Bahrain-based Boy Scouts of America Troop 826. Whirlwind is assigned to Commander, Task Force (CTF) 55, supporting maritime security operations and theater security cooperation efforts in the U.S. 5th Fleet area of responsibility.
