description

Summary

Volunteers and Forest Service personnel gathered for coffee and chat before the safety talk.
The area around Little Bear Trail in the Dry Lake Hills north of Flagstaff, Arizona was burned in 2010 by the Schultz Fire. Subsequent damage caused by heavy monsoon rains has kept the trail closed through the years since the fire.
Flagstaff Biking Organization has worked with the Coconino National Forest to organize several trail work days to restore the trail for use by hikers, bikers, and horseback riders. Approximately 25 volunteers and Forest Service personnel gathered on Saturday, September 10, 2016 to continue the efforts to repair drainages and surfaces along the trail.
