Lieutenant Colonel Misca Geter, the executive officer of the 24th Marine Expeditionary Unit, hands out Marine Corps lanyards to children during the Bayou Classic Parade in New Orleans, Louisiana, November 30, 2019. Through a partnership with Bayou Classic, the Marines are looking to engage students and their influencers to influence them toward service as United States Marine. The Bayou Classic was founded in 1936 and is a game between Southern University and Grambling State University.
