Letter from William P. Weeks, South Berswick, [Maine],

description

Summary

William P. Weeks writes to Amos A. Phelps speaking of affairs at the home of Sarah Ann Haggins. He writes, "You mention in your last that you had a "momentary sorrow" in viewing the contents of my last letter because I omitted to tell you what seemed too unimportant and trifling to commit to paper. You must therefore excuse me from giving a detailed account of those little nothings, which are too..to be exhibited in black and white." He also writes about religious affairs of the people of South Berswick and of his experiences as an "expeditious negotiator."
