Letter from Rowland Greene, Plainfield, to Amos Augustus Phelps, 8t mo. 30t 1833
Summary
Rowland Greene writes to Amos A. Phelps regarding the circular he received. Even though Greene does not fully agree with the statement that ‘slavery is a sin,” he would sign the document if it should help “the noble work of the abolition of slavery.” He also agrees with Phelps on the issue of colonization.
