Letter from Lester Anson Miller, Woodstock, [Vermont], to William Lloyd Garrison, 1832 Dec[ember] 5th

Lester Anson Miller writes to William Lloyd Garrison explaining that he has not recieved 5 numbers of the Liberator. He asks Garrison to forward them to his location at Woodstock and describes arguments with his parents, "friends of the Col[onization] Society," who "do not like the principles of your paper." He compares Garrison's antislavery labors to "moving a wheel, which future ages, if not the present, will appreciate the benefit of." In the postscript, he details instructions for forwarding him the missing issues of the Liberator and comments on reading Garrison's "Thoughts [on African Colonization]."
