There is a separate article attached to the front of this letter from the Liberator (volume XXIII, no.30) issued in Boston, July 29, 1853, titled, "West India Emancipation: Celebration At Framingham." A circular letter written by John Bishop Estlin discusses the education of William and Ellen Craft, two African American fugitives, at the Ockham schools and a financial account of the expenses incurred.
