Letter from Edward Needles, Philad[elphi]a. [Pa.], to William Lloyd Garrison, [March] 22. 1842
Summary
Edward Needles assures William Lloyd Garrison that although the progress of the abolitionist cause may "appear to be very slow", he is possessed of a "holy confidence" that their work will be completed faster than they may expect, pointing to the rise of abolitionist and temperance belief within the religious community at large as a sign of their labor's progress.
