Summary
Satire on the law set in Westminster Hall with four judges sitting in the Court of King's Bench (the title lettered above their heads), clerks and two counsel below and a jury of twelve men seated with their backs to a spiked barrier; spectators watch from raised platforms on either side. In the area in front of the barrier are groupd of people including lawyers speaking to potential clients, an angry man clenching his fists, a man handing a money bag as a bribe to one of the jurors, and a woman selling oranges to a man who puts his hand on her breast while a boy picks his pocket. A large wolf leans over a decorative frame at the top saying, "Here seems a very Gallant-Show, Prey now, Good Folks, what's here to do, etc.."
