Landing signal officers communicate with the pilots as aircraft make their approach to land on the flight deck of the aircraft carrier USS Abraham Lincoln. The Abraham Lincoln Carrier Strike Group is on a scheduled deployment to the U.S. 7th and 5th Fleet areas of responsibility supporting maritime security operations and theater security cooperation efforts to establish conditions for regional stability.
