Landing American Flour at Salonika. On the quay in this busy old maritime city the barges draw up alongside the roadway, and the flour, destined for distribution by the American Red Cross, is carried in farm carts and wagons to the railway or the Red Cross warehouse. This part is the busiest spot in the Aegean and it has been the chief center of the American Red Cross activities since the armistice
