Jordanian Armed Forces train in hand-to-hand combat

Jordanian Armed Forces train in hand-to-hand combat with their U.S. military partners during Exercise Eager Lion 12, an annual exercise focused on developing relationships with other nations and increasing interoperability. It is an irregular warfare-themed exercise including 19 nations and more than 11,000 participants, focused on missions coalition partners might perform in support of contingency operations. The intent is to strengthen military-to-military relationships through a joint, multinational approach to meet current and future complex national security challenges.
