Summary
The man here may be the Chinese Zen eccentric Kensu (Ch. Xianzi [Hsien Tzu]). He holds his net and a bucket sits next to him. Despite the Buddhist prohibition on consuming flesh, Kensu found enlightenment while fishing for shrimp.
