Summary
Interior of the Royal Bungalow outside Iolani Palace. King Kalakaua once lived in the Royal Bungalow, also known as Hale ʻĀkala which was on the Palace grounds where the current ʻIolani Barracks stand. The current ʻIolani Palace was completed in 1882 and the Bungalow was demolished in 1919.
