Humans of Scott AFB - Sarah Pauly
Summary
"I had such a unique childhood because of all the different people and places I was around. I have lived in Oklahoma twice, Texas twice. California twice, Alabama and Illinois. It was challenging to move every two years because I would build relationships in one place and then we would move. However, it helped having a strong relationship with my siblings because they were my only constant in life. Because of our shared experiences, my relationship with my siblings is strong. They made every move better because I knew I would have people in the new place. I wasn’t starting over, I had them with me. It also helped going to church because it pushed me to connect with people and grow in my relationship with God. Every church we attended, I made great relationships with people and I was able to use my talents to bless others. Now that my dad is retired, I’m going to miss the change of scenery, living in one place for three years seems boring."
