SANGIN VALLEY, Afghanistan (Jan. 04, 2011) Hospital Corpsman 3rd Class Heidi A. Dean, assigned to the Female Engagement Team supporting 3rd Battalion, 5th Marine Regiment, gives a medical class to local Afghan children during a health initiative in Sangin, Afghanistan. The initiative is being conducted to train local health care providers, treat sick and injured, and enhance Afghan National Security Force relations in the area.
