Summary
Fort Reno was the highest natural point in the city at 429 ft. above seal level. Originally styled Fort Pennsylvania, Fort Reno was named in honor of Major General Jesse L. Reno, mortally wounded at the Battle of South Mountain on September 14, 1862.
