GULF OF ADEN (July 2, 2015) A crane lifts a rigid-hulled inflatable boat during small boat operations aboard the amphibious transport dock USS Anchorage (LPD 23). The Anchorage is part of the Essex Amphibious Ready Group and, with the embarked 15th Marine Expeditionary Unit, is deployed in support of maritime security operations and theater security cooperation efforts in the U.S. 5th Fleet area of operations.
