Summary

LIBI_00019_03966; This item is a sepia toned postcard of General George A. Custer's guidon. The postcard is 3 7/16 x 5 3/8" and was produced circa 1921 by an unknown photographer. On the front, a handwritten notation reads, "The Lost Flag of Custer's/After being held by the Indians for over forty years. This flag was sold by them to Mrs. A.G. Carter at Crow Agency Mont. in 1921."
