G & J.W. Hawksley powder flask - 124e9b3963f6f483de7f8c10a2bf27f4 (page 5)

Rim on narrow end of flask and opening to powder are made of brass. "G & J.W. Hawksley" is imprinted in brass. Also imprinted are numbers on a diagonal: 3, 3 1/4, 3 1/2, 3 3/4, 4. The flask is made from an alloy which appears to be a combination of brass + copper. Ther are two small iron rings along both sides of the flask (4 total). Tag attached to file card reads "G + J.W. Hawksley "Hand fitting" form (pointed) 1845-1884" Condition: Both sides of flask have a dent in the center.
