Front Entrance Path - National Parks Gallery
Summary
Fort Vancouver. The entrance path to the fort is considered a compatible feature of the historic landscape. The north entrance to the fort was historically accessed by a wagon road, about 12-15 feet wide and probably surfaced with compacted soil or gravel. The walkway that now provides access to the fort follows this historic alignment.
