(From Left) Lance Cpl. Jacob S. Brehm, Staff Sgt. Peter S. Ramos, Lance Cpl. Brandyn E. Council, and Cpl. Michael S. Ussery serve with Echo Company, 2nd Battalion, 4th Marine Reigment. Brehm, Council and Ussery are Ramos’ former recruits. Ramos served as a drill instructor at Marine Corps Recruit Depot Parris Island, S.C., from 2007 until 2010. He is now serving as a platoon sergeant in the company in which Brehm and Ussery fall under his charge.
