Dylan Holmes, cavalry scout, assigned to 5th Squadron, 73rd Cavalry Regiment, 3rd Brigade Combat Team, 82nd Airborne Division, opens a drain hole underneath a Light Armored Vehicle-25 (LAV-25) during a live fire training exercise. A large amount of rain water pooled inside the vehicle; removing water is a critical step for the vehicle to function properly in poor weather conditions. The event is part of an Army’s pilot program to test the capabilities of the LAV-25s.
