This firman concerns the appointment of Hasan 'Ali Garrus as sarhang (major).
He was sent to Prince Hisam Saltaneh to Mashhad to quell the uprising of Salor and was later appointed ambassador to Paris. (Bamdad, M.: Dictionary of National Biography of Iran, 1700-1960, Vol I, Tehran, 1966, pp. 359).
