Summary
Elevation of the facade of Santa Maria Sopra Minerva. Upon the ends of the volutes in the second floor two angels are sitting; upon the couped pediment beside the escutcheon at left, allegorical sculpture of "Faith" (or "Religion") with the tablets of the law and a burning flame upon the head, at right St. Magdalene; above the middle of the central door, upon a console, a lying dog with a burning candle in his mouth. Commission for the Dominican Order.
