Drawing, Design for an Altar Painting, Saint Dominic and Saint Catherine of Siena Receiving the Rosary from the Virgin and Child, 1760–89 (CH 18548443)

Drawn border in brown ink forms the arch at the top. The Saints kneel before a pedestal upon which the Virgin is seated with the Child in her lap. She gives a rosary to Dominic; Catherine receives hers from the Child. Angels and attributes accompany the Saints.
