Dozens of newly-recruited Afghan National Army soldiers
Summary
Dozens of newly-recruited Afghan National Army soldiers raise their hands in the air after Brig. Gen. Abdul Wasea, commanding general, 2nd Brigade, 215th Corps, asks which soldiers lost family members during the Soviet invasion of Afghanistan in the 1980s. General Wasea, who visited troops at Afghan base Delaram I, June 16, often references the death of more the 2 million Afghans during that period in his speeches.
