BOURNE, Mass. - A candidate of the Deployable Operations Group assessment and selection participates in a full-gear swim during the rigourous, two and a half day assessment at the Massachusetts Military Reservation Monday, April 20, 2009. The assessment was developed to identify Coast Guardsmen who have the physical and mental capabilities to serve in Maritime Safety and Security Teams, Tactical Law Enforcement Teams, and Maritime Security Response Teams, the high-stress, specialized law enforcement units throughout the Coast Guard.
