Destroyers Sink Two Enemy Supply Ships Off Brittany. 29 April 1943, Devonport, Hm Destroyers Goathland and Albrighton Carried Out a Surprise Night Action Against a Strongly Escorted German Convoy Off the North Coast of Brittany, on 27 April. Two Enemy Supply Ships Were Torpedoed and Heavily Hit by Gunfire, Both Are Believed Sunk. in Addition Hits With Gunfire Were Made on Two of the Enemy Escorts Which Burst Into Flames and Almost Certainly Sank. An E Boat Was Also Hit and Blew Up.
