Dance Hall, National Parks gallery
Summary
Blow-Me-Down Farm, Saint-Gaudens National Historical Park. This farm was home to the Charles C. Beaman family. Beginning in the 1880s, he rented the nearby farm now known as Aspet to friend and sculptor Augustus Saint-Gaudens. The presence of this prominent artist helped attract other art figures, writers, and musicians to the area to create what became known known as the Cornish Colony.
